Closure of Footpath 7 from High Street – 20th March to 1st May 2023

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1) CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL
(GRAVENHURST: PART OF FOOTPATH NO 7)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023

Notice is hereby given that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any person proceeding on foot along the length of Footpath No 7, Gravenhurst which extends from Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OS GR) TL 1125 3591 (map point A) in a generally south easterly direction to OS GR TL 1137 3575 (map point B).

This temporary closure is required to enable drainage works. The closure is expected to take place from 20th March until the 1st May 2023. There is no alternative route for footpath users while the closure is in operation.

The Order will come into operation on 20 March 2023 for a period not exceeding six months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out on or near to the footpath have been completed, whichever is the earlier. If the works are not completed within six months the Order may be extended for a longer period with the consent of the Secretary of State for Transport.
